Shimla is a popular tourist spot in northern India and enriched with history and also known for the most amazing natural scenery.

Kullu Valley, known as the ‘Valley of the Gods’, Kullu is situated on the banks of the Beas River, surrounded by the Pir Panjal Range and famous for the numerous pilgrimage sites, open meadows, and panoramic views.

Manali, known for it's green surroundings, amazing flora and fauna. Rohtang pass offers its visitors to play in the snow.

Itinerary :

Day 1 : Phuentsholing
Arrival at Bagdogra Airport / Railway Station. Transfer to Phuentsholing. After freshening up proceed for the processing for permits to enter Bhutan. Overnight stay.

Day 2 : Thimphu
In the morning after breakfast get the necessary ppermits and proceed for Thimphu (7875 ft./165 kms), the capital and largest city of Bhutan. After a short drive visit Kharbandi Gompa to get a breathtaking view of Phuentsholing also the Indian plains. Enjoy on Road Water Falls & Natural Sightseeing, Chukha Dam (Top View). Take some breaks to see & feel the Bhutan Himalayan scenery. Take a lunch break, start the journey again, on the way will reach the highest point of about 2800m/9,185ft. Before reaching Thimphu visit Simtokha Dzong. On arrival at Thimphu check in at hotel. Eveing in leisure or Stroll through the market of Thimphu. Over night stay in Thimphu.

Day 3 : Thimphu
After Breakfast proceed for a full day Sightseeing Covering Tashi Chhoe Dzong, the main secretariat building which houses the throne room of his Majesty, the King and also the summer residence Je Khenpo (Chief Abbot) as well as the central monk body. Visit BBS Tower, The national Memorial Chorten, a huge stupa built in memory of the third King who reigned from 1952-1972.  Visit Pangri Zampa Monastery, situated just beyond Dechencholing Palace (5 km from thimphu),this temple was the first residence of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal when he arrived in Bhutan in 1616 AD. , this is the great ancestor of the Shabdrung.this temple was the first residence of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal when he arrived in Bhutan in 1616 AD. Visit National Library for extensive collection of Buddhist literature. Visit National Institute of Traditional Medicine(out side only). Centenary Farmer Market, Changlimithang Stadium. School of Arts & Crafts. Handicraft Institute, Zangthopelri Lhakhang, Motithang Takin Reserve (Takin Zoo) Semtokha Dzong - In Evening enjoy your own. Night halt at Thimphu.

Day 4 : Thimphu - Punakha - Paro
Today after breakfast we will Proceed for a full day excursion towards Punakha (Approx 90 kms/3.5 Hours from Thimphu) and then transfer to Paro. Punakha is the capital of Punakha Dzongkhag districts of Bhutan, and was the capital of Bhutan till 1955. Wangdue Phodrang is a town and capital (dzongkhag thromde) of Wangdue Phodrang District in central Bhutan. Enroute enjoy  the view of Dochu la Pass. The pass is a popular among the tourists because of its 360 degree panoramic view of Himalayan range. The place is worth going in clear winter days with magnificent view of snowcapped mountains and mountain pass.
Transfer to Paro 7,200 ft. (Approx 130 kms/4 hours). Paro is a valley town in Bhutan, west of the capital, Thimphu. It is the site of the country's only international airport and is also known for the many sacred sites in the area. On the way stop at Lamperi to visit Royal Botanical Park. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 5 : Paro
Proceed for a full day sightseeing, proceed for the valley to get a view of the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong (18 km), which holds great historical significance, Mt. Chomolhari (7,300m) reigns in white glory at the northern end of valley, one can enjoy the view of Taktsang Monastery/Tiger nest (it is really tough to reach there), Kichulanka Monastery, visit Ta Dzong; once a watchtower built to defend Rinpung Dzong during inter valley war of the 17th. Century, which was inaugurated as Bhutan's national museum in 1968, Paro Rinpung Dzong (Museum), a flagstone path rises gradually from a wonderful wooden bridge with shingle roofing and abutted by two guard houses, to the dzong. Today, The Dzong is the seat of district administration as well as the home for the monastic school. Also know its incredible history, Nya-Mey Zam, Dungtse Lhankhang, Kila Gompa. In the evening, take a stroll around the town, shop for handicrafts, overnight stay at Paro.

Day 6 : Paro
In the norning after breakfast proceed to visit the Haa Vally. There are two routes from Paro to HAA, and both are about 70 km long and take about 2–3 hours by car. Out of the two routes to HAA, one goes through the highest point of Bhutan called the Chele La Pass which go through Chele La Point. This point is about 42 km from Paro and 28 km before the HAA valley. Back to hotel, afternoon in leisure and enjoy the eveningon your own. Return back to hotel. in the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.

 

Day 7 : Return journey
In the morning, after breakfast enjoy the beauty of Paro Chu (Chu - In Bhutanese language Chu means River), return back to hotel and freshen up. Check out from the hotel and proceed for Bhutan Gate. On the way enjoy the picturesque view of the Bhutan. On arrival at Phuentsholing proceed for onward return journey from Bagdogra Airport / Railway Station.
